Wowsers, there I was on Thursday evening, sat in front of the iMac watching The Wedding Industry Awards' twitter feed like a hawk. My baby monitor was on - the reason I wasn't there in person - and I was reading all about the wonderful time my industry pals were having at Cafe de Paris in London. Drinking cocktails, watching incredible acrobatic performances...

It was taking rather a long time to get through all of the awards and I was getting a little sleepy. "I'll just go and wash up", I thought and skulked off to the kitchen. 15 minutes later I picked up my phone and it was going bonkers - I'd only been awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Best Website category.

My website was selected from 40 shortlisted websites by Guides for Brides. To say I wasn't expecting this award would be a huge understatement. I was rather flabbergasted. As were my wonderful website designers - Fi and Becs Design & Marketing. Kudos indeed ladies. Thank you for building such a gorgeous website to showcase my work.

I'm so super duper chuffed - my website has been shortlisted for a national award!

Having got through to the regional finals for 'Best Wedding Photographer', it's fantastic to find out that my website has made me a national finalist too...

A huge thank you to the lovely girls at Fi and Becs Design & Marketing who were an absolute dream to work with to launch the new website this time last year. Has it really been a whole year?

The winner of the award will be announced at The Wedding Industry Awards National Final at Cafe de Paris in London on 14th January 2016. Fingers crossed...
