One of the warmest and most relaxed couples I have met and possibly the most unique venue I have set foot in – Rachel and Allan’s Pimhill Barn wedding was set to be a corker from the outset. I’d visited the barn with them a few weeks before and even without the bunting, flowers, photographs – not to mention bride and groom – it was just beautiful. They also spilled the details of couple of surprises they had in store and I just couldn’t wait to photograph their big day.
I met Allan at the barn before heading to the Albrighton Hall Hotel to capture Rachel’s bridal prep – Rizzos Hairdressing had worked their magic on our bride and her gorgeous bridesmaids, Kerry and Marie, and there was such a lovely atmosphere as I arrived. A bride who takes the time and care to do her mother’s make-up on her own wedding day makes for an emotional wedding photographer. It was just lovely. Rachel wore a delicate lace gown from Cloud 9 Wedding House and looked absolutely stunning.
Oakapple Catering produced a mouthwatering carvery feast which provided a fantastic bit of theatre for their guests. DJ Chris Connors and The Loose Moose String Band made sure no one stopped dancing and to top it all off, enter Rodeo Wrecks (complete with side-saddle bride). Need I say more?
Such a great wedding. Press play for the perfect soundtrack and take a look at my best bits:
