I was thrilled to be asked to photograph Isaac as a 1st birthday present from his doting granny Barbara.

It’s hard to believe this little man had such a tough start in life having decided he was ready to join the world a good ten weeks early in July of last year, taking his parents - Tom and Jemma - rather by surprise. He’d just passed his first milestone and was an absolute joy, grumbling only when his Daddy left the room or he was requested to crawl towards the camera, and perking up instantly when an incredibly desirable cordless phone was placed beneath my chin as I lay on the floor. He was off - commando-style - nothing was going to stop him.
